In celebration of selling my first print, I have redone my DPC Prints and am offering a ONE TIME "Photographer Sale" - I have reduced prices on ALL prints to their near-base cost.

I am doing this because there are some people who I think would want prints from photographers they know, but can't spend 100 bucks on 10 pictures. Well, my 4x6's are $0.50 - my HIGHEST price is only $0.90 cents over the base price. I'm not trying to make a profit - I would like to allow everyone this one chance (before DPCPrints gets bigger) to purchase any prints they wish.

This sale ends Wednesday and will NOT be repeated. This is your BEST chance to own ANY print you wish.

If there is a challenge entry I have made that is not available for print and you would like it, you have two options - 1) PM me and ask me to work on it or b) wait a bit - I am working on some of my more recent entries today.

Thank you!

Bumping to say I sold some - thank you to those who've bought!

I hope you enjoy the prints - I would LOVE to know how they come out when you get them.

Thanks again!

This is a great idea -- I'll check out your portfolio tonight.

I'd like us to have the option to mark-up any print with a given-percentage discount for DPC members. I'd like to make prints available to members for much less than the general public.

Once a print has a sale, a "Prints Sold" counter on the photo page might encourage further sales...I think people are psychologically more willing to spend money on something someone else has also found of value...

Very good idea. So we do not have to change all the prices.
The reduction could apply to all prints from the preson who set the 'sale' and would be in % of the benefit (meaning the part above the actual cost).
I like the idea of globally give a % to DPC members.

The more I think about it the more I like your idea !

You could even tug at the heart-strings a little further, and allow some extra descriptions for the sale, like 'x% of all sales go to the kitten-up-a-tree foundation'.

I've already done that, lp30 - my entire profit from the shot "Feeling Quite Alone" is going to a homeless shelter in Vancouver, where I found this guy.

I meant to reply to the Prints sold thing earlier - I think that'd be a great thing after say 10 - with a minimum ... so that you don't have half the site with a big 0...it's just as hard to be the first person to buy from x person as it is easy to be the 10th to buy from me! ;)

Wow, if everyday is like today, I'll be happy! :) I've sold 4 prints today! I hope everyone enjoys the prints they have purchased - and those who haven't had a chance to peruse, I hope you still will. ;)
