This little birdie finally came for a drink at our feeder. Comments are welcomed and will be returned.

as the thumb loaded, i thought it was a police siren-light-thing, and thought uhoh the cops are at gayles house heh.
I dont think i have ever seen a hummingbird sit so still before. |

ROFLMAO....wouldn't be the first time the cops were at my house but not this time...LOL

actually - in general they sit still for quite awhile sometimes.
and they usually do so nearby the feeder/flowers as soon as they finish feeding. on top of that - a given bird will sit in the same spot regularly before and after feeding. before to scope out the situation, and after to take a poo ;}
i've got a couple sitting still shots in my profile.
