Ahoy folks,
have recently got my graphics tablet and it came with a couple of spare nibs.
I am just wondering how long a nib tends to last for, do I need to worry about them wearing out after a few weeks of use or do they last for months?
cheers guys n gals |

i've never replaced a nib or known anyone else to do so...maybe that is the wrong thing to do and i'm missing out on an important part of pen/nib technology.

The nibs last a very long time with normal use. But you might have a problem if you dropped the pen and damaged it, or if it dropped out in transit. |

I've been using my Wacom Graphire 2 tablet for a couple of years, I don't think the nibs are replaceable on this model, but I haven't had any need to anyway.
Cheers,

after time (depending on how often u use the stylus) your nib will become pointed - this is the time to change the nib as the sharp point will wear away @ the plastic coating on the tablet and you'll get score marks.
hope this helps :)
oh and wacom have some new drivers out ;) |
