I bought my Zenitar 16mm FE from KievCamera through an Ebay auction. Very easy transaction.

I would recommend you buy through their Ebay sales since they tend to sell the lenses cheaper that way compared to buying through their store website. Here's one: //cgi.ebay.ca/PELENG-MC-LENS-FISHEYE-8mm-lens-Nikon-Canon-EOS_W0QQitemZ7542201344QQcategoryZ3343QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They always have them available through Ebay.

thanks! i saw their ebay site and it's a good 50$ cheaper there than on their website. thanks for the tip :)

When people say its hit and miss with the 8mm pelengs, you may get a sharp or a soft copy, if you get a softy, who do you return it to for an exchange for a sharp one? I cant imagine shipping lenses back and forth from russia or wherever they come from....

If you buy it from the Russian source, I doubt that they will take a return. You're pretty much taking the risk. If yoiu buy it from Kiev Camera they have a 10-day return policy.

I shot a band this last weekend w/ my 20D, 420ex and Peleng 8mm. These are straight out of the camera and resized, saved for web. The edges get pretty blurry.
