When I look at File>File Info for the exif data in Photoshop, it only gives me aperture and focal length, the other information is never there - shutter speed, camera mode, etc. Is this common? Is it the same way for everyone else?

When you go to File-->File Info, are you going to the "Camera Data 1" tab? If you go to Camera Data 1 (rather than Advaced->Exif properties), it provides all of this information for me.. including the camera mode and shutter speed (among many others)
edit: I don't think it should matter (if it does, it would only be that the menus may be laid out different) but I'm using CS2.

if you are using windows XP if you right click on the picture in the folder where it is saved then click on the summary tab at the top it gives all the exif info in there along with the focal length used, camera, and loads of other stuff

I'm not sure what you mean. Right click, properties, summary tab? I have no info there, even though the files I'm clicking on are JPEGs with EXIF info.

| You will need to right click on the picture, then click Properties, then click the Summary tab at the top, and then click on the Advanced button near the bottom. |

for photoshop use the File -> Browse
it will give you the exif on the left hand bottom corner with all the information including custom function settings |
