What you guys think?
I've over saturated in on purpose! The dull version was, uhhhh, DULL!!!

No action, plug-in or whatever was used, besides adjustment layers, masks and some gausian blur!

That came out real nice. That's just the sort of thing I mean when I discuss using gaussian blur and layers to get a healthy "soft" effect.

i really like the effect that you've created in your pp. it doesn't look overdone at all - very nice!

Thx Robt. I pretty much looked at a lot of images with this sort of effects (including some of urs), and then decided to give my best shot at it. I like the effect very much on these sort of pictures!

I'm glad you liked it Kelly! It seemed very hard to come up with something like this. But it was quite simple, as a matter of fact! Thx for the comment!

Funny thing is, I migrated to "glow" because of the deficiencies in my Coolpix 5700. Now that I have the 20D, landscapes I used to glow in PP I am now running straight and crisp, like this one:

I shot right at that same spot for a challenge, with the 5700, and eventually morphed my image into this with glow:

Totally different view, of course, more tele and rotated to the left, but shot from same vantage point.

I just LOVE my 20D :-)
