crystaldm is my sister in law and tho she is not a member(yet)she has asked me to post these and ask all the wonderful DPC'ers opinions on these two photos.she hasnt entered any challenges yet due to wanting to learn her new 350D rebel XT camera first. I think she is more than ready to start entering and she is beginning to get the challenge entry itch. she is ready to start her learing and wishes to start out this way first.
the question is this~ which photo do you think is the better one and why? what processing(if any) could make these better? any comments left will be greatly appriciated by both of us.

| I like the first one more. I'd like to see more of the top of the flower, however. I like where the second one is going but I want to see more of the flower and have it all in focus to pull it off. Just my opinion :) |

I have to agree, both are nice but seeing a little more of the flower (probably tilted towards camera or from top) in the second would make it even more pleasing. I wonder if some stem would show too so it wasn't so much floating, not sure though. Good luck
