Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a rebel xt with a 1gb cf card, with all settings maxed out, super fine, largest resolution, etc, how many shots does the 1gb CF card hold? or whats the approx file size for each shot, with the settings maxed?

RAw & Large fine Jpeg - 79
On RAW - 113
Jpeg Large & fine - 271
just checked with my Sandisk Untra 2 1Gb

what about at iso 100 vs 3200 (or does it only go to 1600?)?

I get about 90 pics shooting in RAW with small JPEG. If you shoot only auto (or some variant) you will get only JPEG and see considerably more shots / Gb.
I prefer to shoot RAW and have 2- 1Gb cards on hand.
