My entry came in 40th, got beat out by all those strawberries and a couple of other cats. LOL,I know, I should have threw my cat in the cream, that would have made for a totally excellent splash!!!!
Really, I think the judging was fair, most of the ones that beat mine were the ones I scored highest and I agreed with all my comments, mine wasn't technically great because of overblown lighting and a yukky background, but that's all I had at zero hour(those who prepare should prevail) and it was a great capture really. The title really did fit because my cat was drunk on too much milk, so full he was too sleepy to move while I posed him. I kept dipping the end of the straw in the milk to get him to taste it and he was trying to pass out. Overall this has been a blast,--Thanks to everyone who commented----Now onto the shoes.

not to bad for your first challenge. Hang in there it will get better or worse.
Im sorta suprised mine finished so low. I came in at # 126 with a 5.05 average vote. This is my second lowest score all year :(
Most of the commens I received people did not get the joke or humor in it, but there were some that did. My wife just kept shaking her had at me when I talked about the photo.
But on the other hand I did tell my wife I dont care what score I get i want to do this purley out of fun to see what will happen.
No Hard feelings Chit
oh and by the way chit is not missing any more he came back just a few days before voting ended

HAHAHA, talk about cliché!
My totally "out of the box, inside the maze" shot did fairly well I believe. Considering that I had to make the maze out of some thick paper, and also make the holes on the cheese, cz I couldn't find one with holes in it already.
So far, this has been the challenge that cost me the most!
The cheese, was very good BTW.
Loved the comments, also got a "my pick for the ribbons" type of commente. Sorry I let you down pal, maybe next time!

Small vent I have been waiting for. Lots of great shots, that is for sure! Surprised at the spalshes so high, but they look good! Was waiting for more cow shots...anyway.
Here it is....THIS
Is a bull...yes!
It is a Holstein bull in particular. Holsteins are the most common dairy cow (here in the west of the US). Without the bull, there are no calves. No calves equals no cows. No cows means no milk. No milk and we don't have dairy (and a dairy is the physical place these cows hang out...not that section in the store). No dairy, so no challenge. Otherwise without the bull...now what the hell was I venting about.
i feel better.

I didn't enter dairy ( or diary as I saw it mentioned in places!) but I wanted to get a pic of some male cattle and entitled it "Oh, bullocks!"
Wasn't sure the joke would cross the Atlantic!
