Have any of you Mac users heard when Apple plans on updating iPhoto and OS X so that the Rebel XT RAW format is natively understood? I have Adobe CS2, which reads RAW just fine, but it would be nice to be able to see thumbnails in Finder without having to open up Bridge.
By the way, I'm back from a 16-day road trip, and will be posting photos very soon!! |

I am able to update the NEF files (the desktop and Media thumbnails) for my Nikon through iView Pro and they show up. Not sure if any others do that, or if iPhoto has that in it either. Can't look either since I deleted iPhoto, since I don't use it. May be a script out there to do it. Let me look through the iView scripts and see if one works.

I'm sure Apple will add support for XT RAW files in the next version. In the meantime, Graphic Converter will handle them just fine. |
