OK, here goes....

Original shot that was submitted

Changed at last minute for this image

Both are very abstract. Should I have left well enough alone or should I have scrapped both and tried something a little less "out there"?

I love the color one.

Color.

I think I would have stayed with the original. The color shot is really cool.

Dangit!!!! That's what I thought... Oh well, shoot and learn. I literally changed it 1 hour before the deadline.

I like them both, and I scored your entry pretty high, despite my little joke in my comment! I think they both look great and it was good to see someone trying something different! For recently having a child your wife looks great too! I say congrats on your photos!

IMO you should have sticked to the blue one, far more impact.

The Blue Nude works better for a mass voting audience for the reasons of, comfort in composition, linear conformity and idealistic representation. Your B&W shot is, however, much more expressive and lends itself to deeper considerations. Your choice for submission to the challenge was right .... because it was yours.

Funny....I was actually planning to do some black light nudes...and just in the rush of things spaced it out...

(truth, got distracted by too many rubber duckies....I think I now own probably 20-30 rubber duckies)
