Hey all... I was fooling around with some items I have at home and took a photo of this beauty (at least in my opinion). Adjusted levels slightly to rid of background. Can you guess what it is? This might be a tough one though :( As usual, comments and critiques are welcome.

If you're an architect, designer or somewhere around those lines, this is an easy one :)

Yes, it is a high key image :)

It looks like glass, Colored, pulled in waves to be used as a lamp?

If I remeber correctly we had something similar to this in drafting class. I think we called it a french curve. Basically a scale that we could curve ow we wanted it so we could draw a line.

I'm actually photographing a french curve right now and will post it later. Unfortunately this isn't one.

I hope this implies a sense of motion and sensuality to it :) At least that's what i see. Again, it's always in the eye of the beholder right?

It's a flexible curve used in pre-CAD drafting and design work.
