In standard DP challenge fashion,
I shot this 2 days before the high contrast challenge was announced.
I do believe that someone on the sc has direct access to my CF cards.
:)
But ... please comments on this ...
It was shot available light at 1/4 f16 |

this is not high contrast.
but you could make it that way with some editing.

You are right ... I just rethought my comment ...
In this context... they want really high contrast ...

Not sure if you were implying that your rose shot is a high-key shot or not; hard to tell with the smiley and all. But to be high-key, the vast majority of the tones in the image have to be above middle gray. There are a lot below in your photo. I also wouldn't consider it a high-contrast shot. I'd have to say it is just a nice B&W. :) |
