This image is irretrievably flawed (focus on gull is off, primarily) but I LOVE the background and the light, the overall effect. Shutter speed is longish, btw, 1/15 sec I think, so the waves are moving in the background, is why they look like that. It was a grabshot with the 70-200mm f/4 at full zoom.
