Beautiful as always. I think I love the last one the most. I like the simplicity of the traditional hands crossed with rings showing. B/W really add to all of the pics.
Do you always do some photo in b/w and some color or, does it depend on what the bride wants?

Personally, I love black and white...it just seems to convey the mood so much better. Also, it adds some when you darken the outer edges more with b&w...
I print the proofs in both b&w and in color...that way it's up to them in the end. Obviously, I won't do like a photo of the groom and the groom's mother in b&w because it just doesn't fit -- that's seems more 'documentary' to me. b&w just seems to convey elegance or romance to me for some reason...quite fitting in most circumstances.
Again, thanks.

Good stuff - how'd you do the b/w conversions? They look a little grey overall to me. Maybe just my taste, but interested in the method.

I can't remember the name of the method...but it's cut and dry, quick and easy, but you have a good bit of control in the end...
1) Create a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, leave it alone.
2) Set its blend mode to Color.
3) Crease another Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, turn the saturation all the way down.
4) Open up the first Hue/Sat. adjustment slider, and play with the hue until you get it where you like it.
I think they may lack a bit of contrast, you're probably right. I'll have to adjust that when they order up their prints...for the proofs, it looks fine though on the 4x6's.
