OK, so I was down at the beach today and there were a group of people there representing www.realkiteboarding.com

Luckily I had my camera with and decided to snap a few pictures. Well I got talking with them afterwards and I am going to send them some pics. I was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions to make these better before I do, and which ones you think are the best. Would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks!

They are all great pics!!

I really like the one with the black and yellow kite.

I think on that one maybe you could adjust the sky color a bit.. using
selective colors..and bring down the cyan..so it looks more blueish..also maybe try and saturate the yellow on the kite a little more.

They are nice shots. The sky colors are very inconsistent though; they really ought to harmonize better IMO. The first looks very green, the 3rd and 4th sort of muddy. Maybe see if you can get them going together better color-wise?

Thanks for the help guys. First I think I may have fixed the black and yellow one (maybe).

Secondly, Bear.. I completely agree about the colors of the sky. I actually was playing around with them on purpose seeing which color looked better. I think I am going to go with the sky in the second one.

Thanks again!

That's good :-) One thing I've noticed; 90% of the time, at least, if you have blue skies and white clouds, you want those clouds a neutral white/gray tone. A little blue works good a lot of the time, but too much yellow/cyan is the kiss of death. Makes skies look smoggy. Which these mayhave been, for all I know, but that's our job, to banish the smog...
