Im going to go pick up a Fuji Finepix S602 in an hour or so. Back in business and I can still take some pictures of co-workers wedding gotta figure out how to use it first mind you. Thanks mavric for the advise it looks like a good camera a step up from my minolta. Future shop has it for $1099.00 but I found it for $999.00 so they are suposed to match it by 110% so we will see soon ! Thanks All |

Is that complete? Or do you have to pay extra for battery, etc.?

Jacko,
You keep telling me that I am the "man". But, now I see that you tell everyone that they are the man. So, who is the man? The Canon guy? Nikon guy? or, the Fuji guy? Who the man?

Jacko! ROFL!!!!!
Paul - Good luck with your new camera. I'm sure you will enjoy it - I certainly enjoy mine!
Patzt: Yes - the 602z includes 4 AA batteries. Paul - please invest in some NiMH rechargeable batteries and a charger - you'll find that the non-rechargeable AAs will deplete very quickly. I personally have 3 sets of NiMH batteries, and I can go for hours without changing them.

I have a Digipower DSP9000 external battery that screws into the tripod mount (and has a mount in it for the tripod). Last forever! I only use my AA's for my flash.

Ack, I never get those extended warranties. But good choice in camera! I love my Fuji. Don't forget: You need to get a 55mm "tube" and UV filter to protect the lens. If you don't get it, you may damage the lens mechanism and/or get dust inside the lens.

You can find the adapter tube on eBay. Just do a search on Fuji FinePix S602. The filters should be available in any store that sells camera equipment. I bought both my adapter tube and filters at Henrys.
