I plan to go to the Ricketts Glen State park in Pennsylvania the coming weekend, Aug 27. I've read that there is a 7.2 mile trail which covers 21 named waterfalls.
I was wondering if anybody has visted this place before. Covering all the 21 falls and photographing them satisfactorily, I dont think is possible (by me at least). Any suggestions on how to go about photographing them will be very helpful.
About equipment, I do intend to take my tripod along with my canon Rebel XT, and a Sigma 18-125 mm lens and a polarizer.
I also have a Canon 50mm lens, which I dont know if I should take along with me.
Any tips about this place, anything else I should think of...any advice...are all welcome.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Ooh, I used to go camping there every summer, although I was mainly focused on corralling 15 children, not photographing waterfalls. :) My recollection is that the falls trail is sometimes rocky and rather steep, at least leading down to the waterfalls, so try to not pack a load that's too cumbersome. Maybe a monopod if you have one. The waterfalls can get pretty dwindly if it's been a dry summer, but I'm not sure what your weather has been like out there this year.
The deer there are very tame and I've seen bears a few times as well (once with cubs!) so maybe you'll get some additional shots.

Thanks mk. Its just a days trip so I might not be as loaded. I'l take the weight into consideration. And i'll look out for bears.
