I got some of those 1000 watt halogen work lights from home depot today and gave it a trial run. I must say Im happy with them. However they get HOT!!!!

here is a test shot, I only cropped/resized and did a little sharpening

Lovely! They seem to work fine, and you didn't cook the rose. I like the direction from behind!
