Hi. I used to love this site and left due to frustrations. I check back every now and then and the otherday I noticed the "Live Music" challenge. The deadline had just passed by a day or two, and turns out earlier that week I had gotten some great shots at the warped tour. I just wanted to see how everyone would have voted me in comparison if I had entered. Thanks

Always nice to see photos that stand out on their own as good shots. This one also happens to meet the challenge very well. 8
PS/ Yes, the site is sometimes frustrating but you should consider coming back...

it would be a 5 from me. here are my reasons:
1> beautiful color
2> creamy blurry background
3> interesting expression
4> is it a little soft maybe?
5> normal idea. There are many shots like this in the challenge. should have gone extra mile for a better one.
6> technically, this is a simple shot. It is at day time, bright. a easy, straight shot. some photographers have overcome many unfavorable conditions, such as fast moving, dim object, flashing backlight, messy background etc. for the efforts and skills, I always give them high scores.
just my 2 cents. please do not take offense.... |
