Why not? We have the golf, hunting, racing, tennis, and the soccer channels on TV why not a channel about photography. I don't know if many of you have watched TechTV, it's all about technology about gaming, computers, etc. and a photography channel could be similar. Interviews with photographs, Camera and lens reviews, editing software reviews and tips. The list could go on. Do you think that would be a good idea?
I did a search on the Internet to see it there was a such channel and the only thing I could come up with was 'the photography channel' which is online. I visited the site and was amazed at the content. Photographers being interview and describing the pictures they took. I have not look throughout the site but the videos interviews I have watched were very interesting. To hear the photographer explain why the photo was taken, what they were thinking was great.

Just Imagine this brought to television. I don't see where they would have a problem with sponsorship. You know Canon, Nikon, Minolta, etc. would be advertising along with Adobe and other editing programs not to mention computer companies.
It just makes me wonder why no one has dedicated a channel to photograph? or at least that I can find.
