Err message on Nikon D100 - DPChallenge Forums

I have recently been experiencing an intermittent Err condition on my Nikon D100, where the shutter will not fire, or pictures are horribly over-exposed when it does fire. I think I know what the problem is, and I have reviewed the manual to see what it says about the Err message.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if yes, what was root cause and how was it resolved? Just curious....

Hmmmm.... well... since no response, I guess no one has had the problem....

Hey! Well.... this is the first time I've had a warranty pay for itself.

Sent the camera to Nikon (Toronto) for repairs. The repairs were performed under warranty; they replaced the aperture control module, and cleaned and adjusted the camera. Received it back today, and can't wait to take it out for a test run.

I'm very pleased with the attitude and service I received from Nikon. Woo Hoo!

Glad to hear that :) So much negative about the camera repair places (all kinds) and too little good... I'mhappy to hear that its repaired, so when do we see pics??
