I checked the status this morning and it has shipped. Shipped yesterday. Talk about quick.
Est Delivery Date: 8/24/05
Two days after I ordered it!!!!!!

| Yup, when it ships, it's quick. But watch out for it. They shipped mine through DHL and they just left it on the porch. No knock or nothing. Good thing I heard him out there. |

I actually searched this thread for Nikon and D50 and D70 because I knew someone would post an alternative. I didn't think it would be an E-300 though.

I had a hell of a time getting my XT from Dell, and I wasn't very happy. I did eventually get it but I reported my unhappy experience on Resellerratings. In short, I didnt mind one or two month delay--I minded the attempts to automatically cancel my order if I didn't respond (and they were sending these notices to an old seldom used email address of mine--one which could not be "removed" from their system even after speaking to their support.) As a result, while I ordered a black XT, I ended up with a silver one, since I had to reorder after almost two months and they didn't have black anymore.
But their sales can't be beat!
