I am probably the worst at not checking my entry before the challenge starts if I enter at the beginning of the week. hehehe.. such is life when you screw up. Put a sticky note on your monitor to remind yourself to check it.

i would appreciate it if someone would tell me what my score was going to end up being before the challenge starts so that i know whether or not to pull my entry. :P

1. SC can't see any other members' entries before the voting starts.
2. SC doesn't have time to screen all 1-500 photos for legality before the voting starts
3. If we did screen the photos before the voting starts, we'd have to "lock-in" your entry at that time -- otherwise, people would be removing and replacing already-approved entries at the last minute. |

What an amicable bunch, today... I never said I wasn't responsible. I'm really not the type to not take responsibility for my own actions. Quite the contrary.

No disrespect intended here, but how can they tell you sooner if they haven't looked at your submission? I think the reason for not looking at your submission prior to the challenge voting date is reasonable and was stated quite clearly.
There is also the checkbox for challenge entry submission that states: Yes, I have followed the applicable editing rules taking into account any extra rules listed above.. If you check the box then you're saying that you've read the rules, etc... Can't submit an entry without checking that box.
When I first saw your post I winced...knew you were going to take some heat.
