After spending too much time in Photoshop, I decided to put the image on the site for all those dog owners who love pet photo's. I take alot of photo's of my pets.
Just re-done my postprocessing

Cute shot. Not go back to photoshop and subtract some blue?

You better not get me started posting photos of my dog -- it won't end.
Whoops... I did it again.

Robert,
When I started with this image it already had a blue cast. I am still trying to eliminate this issue. I guess I just do not know enough about PS yet. I will start with the original and just restart the process. I like the capture.
Bill
Brian,
Here is a old cute photo.

Bill,
it's a white-balance issue, the shot look slike it was made in open shade with daylight balance. Open shade is a blue cast of light, reflected from sky. Uou get a similar problem when shooting daylight balance on an overcast day. It's easily fixable: I opened the image and applied "autocolor" adjustment to it, then saved:
If autocolor doesn't do it, then a selective color layer and adjustments of yellow and blue sliders in the neutral range usually will.

I removed the blue, but still wasnt happy with it. So I did this to it....desat, adjust contrast, soft blur, lighting effects.
 My Aussie.

My love, Lexi. Just spent an hour bathing and combing her. I swear my next dog will be hairless!

bcoble - this isn't a white balance issue is it. You had it set wrong when you took the image, or the auto white balance didn't get it right?
ourwebstop - you got me with the frisbie pictures - just great - our sheltie is addicted to the things. And I couln't help but notice that the dog carries it back upside down - just like our Sheltie had learned to do. She will stop to turn it over is she catches it in the air and when she grabs it off of the ground she flips it over every time. |

Virtually all dogs do this, only the "idiots" don't. Reason: when the frisbee is right-side-up, it flops DOWN at the end and the dog's tongue can't "breathe". It's a matter of how the teeth grab the rolled edge and lever the frisbee.

That might be the case Robt but I think mine first had a problem tripping over the thing, especially when she was a puppy. That leverage you mentioned keeps it out of the way of her feet. |

Yeah, that too; the leverage works "up" and it's better for running. But a trainer did explain to me that dogs HATE to have anything pressing their tongues, restricting them...

What a cutie! I'd love to have an Aussie for a second dog :)
Meanwhile, my first dog, and Queen, is Shiloh...
