I see a lot of dried water spots on the end of your lens. Try cleaning your lens and shooting again.

This is a photo of an actual orb. I had this studied by quite a few who are pros in the field.

The first one is the actual shot. This was taken at Cob Cemetery in Baker, Florida. Legend has it that every February an old officer can be seen wandering the grounds. Seems he is looking for his wife. Don't know how real that all is, but I took this in October I believe with my fuji finepix. I have a lot of photos from that night, but only this one shows a real orb. I also took shots at 6 different cemeterys that night, and only this one revealed an orb.

Ok, so here is a close up. You can see by Grant's description from TAPS that this has all the qualities. If you look closely, you can also make out two faces. One group believes it is man and wife. Quite rare.

And here in the negative, you can see also that it is a solid mass, and not a dust orb, which will not look the same. I will edit this to add a dust orb photo I have and you can surely see the difference.

And here it is embossed, showing the same solid mass.

Here are the dust orbs...

It is my belief that mainly, spiritual orbs are either just energy being emited by the spirit realm (in the case of REAL orbs), or even the beginning of a manifestation or the best they can do for manifestations without a lot of energy to work with. If you are psychic, you can have these occur more often. If not, you will most likely find it a ver rare occurance. The energies emitted by the psych, or by nearby energetic items can cause them to manifest (a flash light, something with a battery, etc) when out looking to capture an orb.

These photos are also interesting because if you look closely at the embossed and the negative, you can see there are dust orbs in those photos. This helps you distinquish between the solidity of the real orb and the dust orbs.

Questions for those who know and understand orbs:

Is an orb the same as a ghost? Is there a one-to-one correspondence (i.e., one orb = one ghost), or do a bunch of orbs make up one ghost?

Has anyone ever captured an orb? I mean, like bottled the sucker and put a cork in the top. Or can these critters slip through hard objects?

If the orb is transparent (translucent?), can I run through it? Would I feel anything? Would it tickle?

Anyone ever piss off an orb? If so, does it retaliate?

TIA

I hear they do! But what I wonder is, if an Orb dies, does the paper run an Orbituary?

Another question; when orbs are not busy messing around their earthly haunts, do they sleep or rest? And if so, would they do this in a parking orbit of some sort?

I'll answer one at a time..LOL:

1. Yes and no. It is not the same as a ghost but it is a type of ghostly manifestation. Yes, there is correspondance. You can actually call out, as they put it in the paranormal world, to ghosts to show themselves and they may actually respond by showing themselves in the manner of an orb. Therefore, there is communication. And no, a bunch of orbs do not make up one ghost, but one orb is a ghostly manifestation of one, at least to my knowledge. Although, in my own orb shot, it is said it is a husband and wife manifestation. This could also be two orbs close together in one shot and not just one orb that has several spirits in it.

2. No. No one can catch an orb like a firefly. LOL...And yes, they can and do pass through hard objects.

3. Yes, you can run through it. It is a mass of energy. Just like running through a beam of light. No you wouldn't feel anything and no it wouldn't tickle. You would only feel a coldness, in some cases, when a manifestation is near. They can be cold or hot spots actually, and usually when they are near, so are orbs or even more prevalent manefistations.

4. An orb does not retaliate. It is only energy of a spirit. For a poor analogy, that would be like saying if you were to retaliate, that your hair could do it without you as a whole. Using the same analogy, yes, as a whole, a spirit can retaliate and has been known to actually use enough energy to hurt or scratch or throw objects if wanting to, just as you could as a whole, but your hair alone could not.

5. And this is for Bear. Orbs do not mess around with earthly haunts. I don't even believe that spirits know they are emitting orbs, just as when we don't know when we have a hair fall out. They can, if asked, show themselves in this manner, just as you can actually pull out a hair and know it is there, but when in their regular residual routines from past lives or hurts, I don't think they know they are emiting orbs, just as in your every day routine you don't know when you are losing a hair. Sorry about the hair analogy, but that is the only one I can think of at the moment.

I don't believe spirits are here to haunt, but they can see us or sense us and hear us, but we can't always see or hear or sense them. They usually are here in visitation. For instance, if they were murdered miserably, they may have moved on to whatever realm or plain they belong on, but they may visit occasionally because they still may have a hold here, such as retaliation or anger, etc. They may also visit for the opposite reason, as in loving their old homes or seeing their children or trying to help a relative. Some never move on to other plains. Some don't like the plains they have moved on to and decide to stay here and be benevolent or hurtful.

I don't have all the answers, but I have been around long enough in this field and read and researched enough to just state what I "have" learned. Like I said on another thread. I don't know much about the plains, and the realms, etc. I haven't been there yet..LOL..but from what I understand, this is the general idea of why some remain. It is called paranormal to us, but to them, it is just...normal.

I've got orb pictures... no dust, snow, rain or smoke when they were taken so they are actual orbs not any of the above.
I live in a house built in 1903 it's pretty as one would say haunted, noise's, black shadows, stains appearing on the wall, windows and doors opening and shutting by themselves, things going missing.
But we live at peace with our 'ghosts' my mother and I have psychic talents I believe this is why we live at peace with them

Not opinion, fact.

Hate to break it to all you Weekly World News readers, but it's all just a bunch of made up nonsense. There is no Bat-Boy, Three-Headed Chicken, energy orbs, ghosts, phantoms, brain eating zombies, ESP, psychokinetics, mindpowers or whatever other hoo-hah it is that you believe.

It's all the product of overactive imaginations, too much free time and wishful thinking.

Perhaps you should start a rant about your feelings and leave the rest of us to enjoy our conversation in peace.

If this was your private imaginary phenomena forum, then sure, I'd be out of line. But it's not. If you post such outlandish nonsense, you have to expect some flak.

But, go on, believe in the whackaloon fairy tales, energy orbs, flesh-eating, three-headed dog zombies or whatever of pseudoscience crap it is you want. Just don't expect me to take you seriously or to refrain from comment.
