I took the camera out to Indian Peaks Wilderness area today. Here are some of the shots. Any tips and comments would be welcome. Thanks.

Left you a comment on the lake shot. Beautiful shot but could use a little color correction and horizon straightening. |

The straighten part I get, but how does one adjust the color? I'm a total newbie when it comes to photoshop. By the way I used the polarizer. |

I made a very quick adjustment using the curves command. Basically, open curves, use the black dropper to select the darkest part of the photo, use the white dropper to select the brightest part of the photo, and then make very slight adjustments with the curve itself to massage the mid-tones. It's very easy but VERY powerful. In many cases, simply selecting the dark and light points will improve a photo considerably.
There's a tutorial on curves under the learn menu but I'm too lazy to link it right now, gimme a sec ...
Couldn't find it. Graphicfunk posted a "tutorial" in a message a few weeks ago, but his might be a bit deep-end for somebody new to curves. Search with google for "curves color correction" or something like that and you'll find lots of tips.
