I like the pictures. If you could get the one with multiple shots of the jump in focus, I would like it more. But maybe an out-of-focus shot is what you were looking for. How did you do that, by the way? Good work. |

The black and white is awesome, and the grafitti adds so much character to it!

and then i cut the guy out and pasted him with the other ones in photoshop though i know there is a better and easyer way of doing it in ps.

Focus on the skater then pan with him keeping him at the point you used as your focal point. Also, you need to get you a f2.8 lense or you could even use a $80 50mm/1.8 EF by Canon. I think everyone that has taken action shots has had a beginning like this. Get you one of those lenses, focus and follow your subject then post it again for us to see the improvement. The 18-55mm works good outside, but it will kill you inside any building, especially w/o a good flash. Good job though. |

oh yeah thats a great idea. though i could only use it doing single shots and not for the sequences because it would be harder to edit them together in photoshop afterwards. good idea trying to used a bigger aperature(or smaller, whatever).
As for improvement. im not sure if i'll be going back to that place for a while but i'll post it here if i do.
thanks for the tips.
