Current Newstand issue of Popular Photography has a review of this lens. To sum it up, slightly lower performing at 18mm vs.Tokina at 24. About same at 11mm vs Tokina at 12mm. Shorter min. focusing distance, less barrerl distortion than the Toke, and worse build, noise/slow AF.
