PS 7.0 image:

I'm looking for any ideas on how to "spiff" this picture up a little bit. The colors look flat to me. I'm just learning PS 7.0, and any ideas or tips you "guys" may have would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Play with Curves in an adjustment layer -- Curves are your best friend for basic adjustments of tone and contrast. Note that there are separate curves available for each color channel as well as the RGB composite.

here is my version. I basically created a gradient map to bring out some contrast, then made a channel mixer adjustments level with red and green at 50% and blue at 0. The rest is just heavy handed dodge and burn.
