I finally was able to afford and purchase some add-on lenses for my camera (its a kodak dx4530), but I can't add my lenses as there is no Kodak or Tiffen lenses listed. My telephoto and wide angle lenses both say they are made by Kodak and the +7 & +10 close-up lenses say Tiffen on them. I know it isn't the high priced stuff that most people here use, but I still would like to be able to add them. Any suggestions?
Oops! The close-up lenses are Kodak's, not Tiffen's.

Basically what you have is a P&S with an attached lense. The add on lenses are just that add ons and not just lenses.
So you can't add them on this website.

The lens list (as it currently is) is for interchangable lenses for DSLRs.
The closeup attachments you have are often referred to as filters since they screw in to the front of a lens or adapter.
Also, the telephoto and wideangle attachments are often referred to as converters since they are converting the non-removable lens on the camera.

Actually my detachable add-ons lenses for my Sony are listed so it's possible.

On the other hand, you can just add them in the comments for your picture. Most people include some information there on setup and camera information.
Chasing down all the new lenses and keeping information accurate is one thing. Chasing down all the little bits and baubles for P&S cameras would be a nightmare. |
