I have borrowed a Rebel 300d and a Promaster 7500ds from another friend and for some reason or another cannont get the two to work together. I have tried many different settings and cannont get the flash to fire when I want it to!! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a switch on the flash that looks like arrows. I believe first curtain sync is when that is to the left. Also you need to make sure the red light goes on before you shoot or it means the flash isn't charged.
