This morning/afternoon, I did the fashion shoot for the Bell Tower. It was alot of fun! This was my first fashion "gig", so I was really nervous, but alot of the shots look like they came out pretty good.

I was told that of they like what I do, they may use one of the shots for their billboard!!! That would be kick ass..... driving down the road, and look........ there is my picture for all my city to see! :) That really makes me excited! They are already going to be seen by customers of the BT, in their catalog and fliers, and maybe in the newspaper..... but yeah... a billboard! :) I can't stop smiling!

I have almost 100 shots to go through and do, but I wanted to at least post 3 of my faves for you to see. I will post more as I get some more done!

And btw, I didn't pose them.... there was someone else there doing that. So sorry if they look stuffy and pissed off. LoL I would've had them having fun! :)

First of all, glad to hear you had so much fun shooting this. It's nice to feel your excitement through your post!

I know you said someone else was posing the models...which is fine, I guess. However, it's YOUR shoot too & if you feel the urge to try something different with your models, by all means, do. Usually, a (good) art director will allow you to shoot your vision, as long as you've shot theirs first. That way, your not stuck with photos that look the same. Interacting with models is essential and the one thing you try may end up being the best of the bunch!

Good luck with the billboard!!

i think the shots look great! my fav is the first one -- you just seemed to capture their expressions -- it feels so "fashion"able...know what i mean? the saturation in these is great -- great color. what kind of lens did you use?

the other two are also nice. the third one looks like something out of vogue -- the setting, etc.

congrats on this first fashion shoot - i'm sure you'll have more based on these shots.

Dumb question of the night. What is the Bell Tower, and who are these people? Are they specific to the Bell Towere? Or are they models? Pics look great, by the way.

The Bell Tower is an upscale spa, salon and store here in PA. These are clothes that the store sells and the models are local models that they have come in.

Thank you very much! I used the Nikon 18-70mm lens that came with the D70.
