Chemung County 2005 Fair Enteries
These are the pictures that my girls and I entered in the Fair this year.

Most of the shots were taken on vacation in Montana last summer. I haven't personally picked up my camera in over a month. No motivation, been down about other things. But I have a great idea for rain if I can get Mother Nature to cooperate tomorrow and make it rain again, LOL :)

Congrats. Lots of 1st places. That's exciting.
I forgot about the local fairs but I did enter the NYS Fair this year. Just dropped them off Friday and should hear in about a week whether they are accepted or not. I could only hope to do as well as you!

I thought about the NYS Fair and then laughed at myself, LOL. Local is one thing, state wide is quite another animal.

Do it! What have you got to lose?
The first time I entered the Maryland State Fair two years ago, I ended up with a champion ribbon. I got another one last year. Hoping for, but not counting on another in a couple of weeks.
BTW, congratulations to all three of you. Alll of the shots are outstanding. Were there any monatary rewards along with the ribbons? |
