Epson 1290 with Permajet MonoChromePro inks. I find the print tonality on the warm side, however far I push it, and the best results are with matte papers; but at A3 on Ilford Pearl paper it works for me.
I'd probably go for the Canon 9900 if I were buying now - a friend prints around 70 A3 a day with his, and the tonality is wonderful - absolutely spot-on neutral, and that's with the standard inkset.
Though the Permajet tone is growing on me ... |

No...but only because I don't have one! I don't have a photo printer, I mean. Still drooling over the 2200. Santa doesn't seem to be receiving my mail. :-/
