I have narrowed it down to two pictures I really enjoy, both for the action and the sense of hurt in the riders. I hope you enjoy them. CC is welcomed of course.

Both GREAT shots. Vibrant. Terrific colors. Nice focus. Create a very dynamic sense of action without losing the detail of the riders. Must have had bright light! Really well done.

I have taken a lot of track racing photos at the Velodrome in Redmond, WA but they race on summer evenings and the light is poor for photographing sports. These put mine to shame.

Thanks for the comments. Yes they have very bright lights running similar to at a football stadium. Pair that with the 550ex i'm using and you can get good shots in the dark of night at iso 1000-1250 :-)

no I believe it was first curtain.

Excellent work, Logan. I'd like to have seen the whole of the bike on the second shot. Nice work panning on the first. I don't have any other suggestions!
