I went to the zoo today and took a few hundred pictures. Here are a few from my afternoon expedition. I am willing to become a personal servant for feedback and comments. Thanks.
Oh, I'm also looking for titles, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
..
The last two look a lot better full size.

I don't think they need titles.
Can't make out the first image???

The first image is a Colobus Monkey with his arms raised. The exhibit is actually completely enclosed by a net, but the foreground and the background bokeh of the net get lost because he is right in the middle. He is holding on to the top. |

xtabintun, why did you convert all of these to b/w ? any particular reason ? |

I think B&W makes a photo infinitely more interesting, because when you lose the color the detail becomes more clear. Some of them look decent in color, but I prefer the B&W. |

Do you still have the colour ones as well? |

Here's my 2cts.
While I find most of the shots OK, I'm also not drawn to spend much time looking at them. Most are too dark to see much detail. Those that have sufficient light, don't seem quite clear enough. Maybe this is simply a limitation of your camera(?), since the images aren't blurred.
A bit more contrast would help, I think. You could improve what you have quite a bit in Photoshop, or something similar.
The shot you posted of the kids watching the chimp has the potential to be really good, but needs some processing. The subject matter is wonderful. I'll suggest a title - "Who's Watching Who?"
I also like the tortoise, the first bird shot, the penguin, the elephant, the prairie dog & the second lion. The rest don't call me at all.
Hope that helps. |

The crane shot in the first group is a winner in my book. Some of the others do need a little contrast adjustment. Try for blacker blacks and whiter whites. Overall, nice work. |
