A while back I went to a number of sites that offered FREE Gothic Glow and none of those sites had downloadable EXE.'s Even when I right clicked on the download file links, they only showed small, small near empty file sizes.
Is there anyone around that can e-mail a copy or point me in the right direction where I can obtain GG?
Thanks in advance.

Feivel's Gothic Glow IS a very small file; it's a photoshop action, not an exe file. You download it and drop it in your actions (.atn) folder in photoshop and run it that way.

I'm on a work computer right now so I may not be able to download it to my server but it wouldn't open at home when I'd tried it from around 3 sites. Loked like dead software or a dead link...don't know?
Thank you all so much but one more thing...what's an atn. folder? Haven't needed to know or use that in all my cyber travels... yet.

That's the folder where your PS action files are stored. Do a file search on the drive where PS is installed, search for "*.atn", right-click on one of the results and select "open containing folder." That will be the folder where you should put downloaded actions.

It's the folder where all your actions are stored in your photoshop directory. I forget what it's called and don't have PS open right now. If nobody else nails it I'll fill in the blank later.
And due, you can't "open" this file, it doesn't have anything it "opens" in. It's just a specialized sort of file that keys a series of steps in photoshop when it's used out of the actions pallette.

Probably save it to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop\Presets\Photoshop Actions
Then in Photoshop to go to Actions pallette - near history pallette and click the right arrow - then "load actions" and find the goth glow action and load it.
Now you can run it by highlighting it and clicking the "play" arrow on the bottom of the pallette.

I did all these and I still have to click on each part of the process (about 15 different steps) to get the results..how do I just click on it and boom it is done?
nevermind..I figured that I can highlight them all and click play. duh

actually you only need to click the TITLE of the action and play to get the whole thing. Doing them one-by-one, though, allows you to adjust each step of the process as you wish.

I got it. Works like a charm.
It's like a cheat sheet.
