Communications 101.
Interpret the communication as it is intended.

Seems to me... We should photograph... person/s making music.
(It's very tricky photographing sound and music is heard not seen).

quite frankly i cant stand "gig" photos they all look the same and they only mean anything if you know how the band member is. That said i wont hold a gig photo against anyone. Nor will i hold a street performer against anyone. Live music means they are making the music while you are taking the photo.
And dont forget that not all music is a rock concert - blue grass doesnt have a big black stage with lights and smoke machines.

i agree, as long there is someone (or something) playing the music when the photo is taken, I'll regard it as fits the challenge. like Truth4848 said, pls try not to post photos of standstill items that isnt making a sound at the moment.

I have two ideas..I had one until I got a gig to do a senior photo and she plays something that makes music. I now have two ideas...both solo acts with no smoke, no spots, no disco balls, no stage even.

Since there will be no indian costume and the location will not be Iceland, I will not get a ribbon.

same old, same old.

Church Choir is live music. So is the organist. Live near a Church? How about one of those kind where the whole sermon is musical - 'The Singing Preacher'...(they have one of these near my mom's house in NY) Doesn't have to be a 'band' or a 'musician' per se.
