| I saw a headline on a magazine cover about Apple puting Intel processors in there computers. Does this mean that Macs will work with PC programs? |

Nope. The processor will still be mated to a Mac-specific motherboard, and running the Mac OS.
Macs will run some Windows apps, though slowly, in an emulation mode.

| Yes & No if you are using the MAC OS it will not run your Windows Apps but the rumor is that the machine will allow you install Windows along side MAC OS making you machine able to boot either OS |

Oh, what fun. I can either run OSX whatever and fly or run a nice blue screen Windows OS on my Mac. The reason you buy a Mac is for the OS.
Now if they could find a way of running OSX native on my 64bit AMD...

Watch the Steve Job's speach. All versions of Mac OSX will run run on a pc. You just have to make your own drivers...

I'll believe those rumors when they are demonstrated true. If they are true, then there is no more Mac hardware, only PCs running MacOS. I'm not totally dismissing this, because it's already partly true; Macs already use the PCI bus and so take the same addin cards as PCs.

You have to do that now with XP64 on a PC.

aren't all these just computers? with a bunch of different boards and processors and parts made by other companies anyway? Just geared toward specific OS's.
