MY D70 IS DEAD!!! wah wah wah!

I went to take a picture last night, and when I turned on the camera, the low-battery icon was flashing, so I put in the other battery, and same thing. I charged the battery, and tried it again, same thing. It will not take pictures.

This morning I plugged the AC adapter into the camera, and it will then take pictures, but the metering is screwed up. It wants to expose everything somewhere around 1/125 @ f/22 or something ridiculous, this is in a not-bright room in my house. I tried different lenses too, and they all do the same thing.

I've only found one other instance of this on the net: activator@dpreviw: dead camera.

Has anyone else had this problem??? Help, please!!! I would be eternally grateful. I am getting married in 2 weeks and going to Maui on my honeymoon and I really am upset that my camera is dead.
:-((((((( <-- [really sad face]

I think my extended warranty from Onecall should cover it, but no way on earth they'll have it done before I leave for my trip. I'll probably take it in tomorrow.

Sadly,
skylen

Yup, that's the BGLOD, the Blinking Green Light Of Death.
Hasn't happened to me (yet) but there's a whole bunch of folks on the D70 forum at dpreview.com who have had the same problem.
Hope that helps.

I dunno, I don't get a blinking green light, the CF card light isn't blinking, only the battery indicator on the top LCD panel. It may be related though (loose circuit board connection).
