After sending my camera and/or lens back 5 times. Finally, someone here gave me a number for Canon Professional Services. The contact sent my info to someone who had it routed through something other than the uber-lousy New Jersey facility.
In the end they sent me a replacement body, lens and grip. (Other than a small fiber beneath the LCD screen (no biggie) I have had zero problems with the new setup. Well, other than finding time to go out shooting.
