I was going to enter one of these two for the Long Exposure Challenge, but I couldn't get a stable Internet Connection where I was that day, but I'd love opinions. The first picture is of False Creek, from Stanley Park, and the second one is also from Stanley Park of the Sulfur Pits.

Hi Stephanie,

Here's my 2cts' worth. IMHO, your borders are too wide, especially on the first one. Really makes the image feel small.

How long were your exposures. Usually, water will look a lot smoother in a long exposure shot. The second shot really shows what I mean. If you can do it, I'd suggest reshooting with longer shutter times.

I like the framing on both shots, but in the first, the reflection of the tall center building getting cut off is a little distracting.

You have some image artifacts from resizing.
