...prices this high?

Just wondering if this is what everyone else is paying.

Unfortunately :(

Although that is towards the higher end of the spectrum - I've seen places offering it for about twenty cents less in certain parts of the state.

CNN reports gas prices hitting a record $2.37 a gallon

Apparently, the shock is so great in some places that it can cause a man to forget his wife.

In our area (Mesquite TX) I noticed today it is around 2.339 + -
But it has been changing everyday just about.

I had to grin with your photo, Valero is the company my son works for in San Antonio TX. They own all the Diamond Shamrock gas stations and are changing the name to Valero.

I believe it was $2.43 here in upstate NY the other day. Too darn high. I feel bad for those of you with even higher prices. I think it's time to go back to horse and buggy! :-)

Just passed the gas station on my way home tonight - $2.54 a gallon for regular unleaded. Blame Bush - he won't release any of the reserves.

I've noticed something else over the past year - Deisel now costs the most - used to be it was the cheapest!

In Perth, Western Australia at the moment we're paying about $1.15 per litre (not sure what that equates to with prices around the world) which is just getting friggin' stupid!

Yes, diesel is more expensive over here too. I don't know why because it just puts up the price of carrying goods so prices of everything go up. Most of our ~"gas`' prices is tax! So with road tax, congestion charges, gas prices and now possible toll charges, I think we motorists are supporting the whole country!
:(

We live in England.

Here in PA/Oh border...yesterday $2.28. Today $2.35 (regular 'self' serve)

Hmm...anyone got a replacement for my minivan that gets better mileage?? 18.5 is not going to cut it...I have been watching the fill ups grow in price, over $40 last week...and now it is 12 cents a gallon more than that!

OUCH!

We all knew this day was coming sooner or later so who do you blame :)
Government?

I think they need to speed up the replacement fuels :)

Its around $2.50 in Connecticut. And some pumps cut you off at $50, so you have to put your card in twice...

Very true, it's really dead between 7 and 12 noon. That's when I get some work done!
To get back to petrol prices, we are paying about 90/91pence a litre in Yorkshire. What is it down in Bristol? If it's cheaper, I'm moving!

Not that high, but I am trading in my 2002 Mustang GT for a Camry.

Ackk..that really sucks. But I guess you do what you have to do. I wont buy the new Stang GT because of gas prices. I put way too many miles on a car, and I pay for the gas.

Gas prices are out of control, and I need something now with 30 mpg.

Definately not cheaper! I've seen it around 95 96 in some places. Won't be long before it's £1!
