So today, I started a new experiment, actually the idea was spawned from the pro for the workshop this weekend, Don Gale.
Today, and for the next few months, I plan to shoot strictly all Manual. Manual Focus, Manual Aperture, Manual Shutter.
I'm looking through my photos from today, and I can't believe how much more Crisp and sharp my images look. Having to choose all the settings makes me think all the time, and I think that in turn has all ready helped to improve my photos. I will be posting a few samples later tonight hopefully.

Excellent Jeremy! That is great. I have been trying to shoot all manual on the exposure side. I can't quite convince myself to use manual focus yet though. Do you find that that is much easier also? I have a hard time with it. Maybe it is becuase I have become so accustomed to auto focus.

I shoot manuel 90% of the time.
I use manuel focus about 70% of the time depending on the subject.

I do admit, it takes getting used to. I cant even tell you how many times today I saw good looking motorcycles go by, and I just bring the camera and try to shoot, not realizing that I had to set everything up lol.
