I went to the beach last night and was lucky enough to get these shots. They are straight out of the camera. I think a tighter crop would certainly help them look better.
Just wanted to share my good fortune.

Awesome shots... was this in florida? Last night I was at Vans warped tour and they had to delay the show during my favorite bands set due to lightning. It was the most lightning I had seen in a very long time and we get a lotta lightning down here. Being out in the open with thousands of people might have added to the effect too thought....

Fantastic ! I love looking at shots portraying mother nature at her best ! I like everything about shots 2 and 3 , the overall effect is great with the lightning brightening up the whole frame. Thanks for sharing !

Very cool!! I've always wanted to try lightning shots, but the storms in VT don't often produce much, at least not lately.

Congratulations on getting that shots.
I have also tried taking some lightning shots, and needs a little bit of luck and lots of pacience.
I liked the three of them, and I'll leave them like that.
