I was resently in jasper alberta doing some photography.

I was taking pictures of streams and rivers and trying to get that blurred effect where the river banks are focused but the river gets a clouded effect. Anyways could anyone tell me how they achieve it im fairly new to photography and could use any help i can get

Long exposure using a tripod, Neutral Density Filters (ND filter),or Circular Polarizer.A remote is useful or using the timer on your camera to help movement of the camera for longer exposures. A nice small aperture (higher f#). is possible helpful.

Photo confusion #1 - Small Aperture is actually a higher F#.
