Canon 1d Mark 2.
After the close call with a transaction that a previous thread enlightened me too.
After reading an article in this months PCPhoto about buying on the internet.
And after my wife gave me the thumbs up to use a credit card, I bit the bullet and bought the camera.
Actually, the price was very good at Adorama.Com and really could not pass it up. I've been shopping for months now, and this is the best price I've seen from a reputable site.
Thanks everyone for all of your insights.
Now I need to upgrade my lens sets.
I need a drink now.

Congratulations on the new purchase :) - surprised that you didn't go with the lenses first and the body later.
