I had a too short trip to Twin Falls, Idaho yesterday. But while I was there, my brother took me out onto the Snake River on his boat. I took a ton of pictures along the way. But then... as we were returning we saw some people in a boat just sitting off to the side underneath the bridge. My brother quickly stopped the boat and asked ... is someone going to jump? They replied yes. And so we stopped our rush to return to shore and parked the boat right in the middle of the river, underneath the shadow of the bridge and waited for the jumpers.

Some of my sequence shots were taken in rapid fire, 5fps, as the parachutists came down and splashed in the water. But as the portfolio size here is limited, these are just a FEW of the awesome pictures from yesterday.

A couple more pictures from the same trip... these were taken at the end of the river before we turned around and came back.

I like the last one with the river. Have you tried it in B/W yet?

Hmmm... hadn't thought of it. I was too enamored of the awesome color (the blues, the greens, etc). I'll play around a bit later. Thanks!

I really like the first photo. It show how enormous and tall the bridge is, and also how daring (stupid?) the jumper is.

Great shots.
