As always, thanks in advance! :)

left you a few comments, I gave my honest opinion, but of course it is just MY opinion, I hope that you get lots of different ones because I am no expert. |

Thanks mandy! :) I had one of Amanda is a less "mature" pose, but parts of her arm was cut off. I was really going for lighting, and trying something different. Everytime I call for one of them, they're always like, "What now, Mom?" LOL |

LadeeM,
No pro but will offer my thoughts as they popped into my head:
Agree heartly with mandyturner on all accounts.
Would make this suggestion: back up with your lens. You are getting in too tight and cropping with your camera lens. Give yourself something to work with in post production. If you have the larger image you can always crop it later.
Would agree also on the background. Moving slightly to the right side would have eliminated the tree. And since it is the girls you want drop the aperature down even further to blur the background.
As for the "mature" shot. I also thought it was a little too sexy for such a young lady. However, try cropping just her face above the halter tops. I think it will make a fine shot. . . problem is those dirty feet.
In general - If these were my shots they'd certainly still go into the family portfolio. Their smiles are priceless. BOL |

I left comments on each one... for the most part, I do agree with the other comments left for you. I am no expert though and just learning portrait shooting myself - it's just my opinion. :-) |
